Time Management & Planning

Time means money and bringing in a project on time is a challenging prospect. It requires careful initial analysis and close management during the entire development process to control the complex inter-relationships between owners, designers, authorities and contractors, all of which have the capacity to delay the project.

The time management process involves the preparation of well considered and realistic time estimates of the entire development process. Thereafter, progress needs to be monitored against this time plan, on a regular basis. TBH will forecast the completion date, identify problems and offer solutions for recovery of lost time to enable appropriate management action to be taken to maintain programme.

TBH has a strong reputation as Time Management experts in Australia having provided this service for over 30 years, and we are engaged to provide advice to owners, financiers, developers, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and the legal profession.

While our time management service is most effective if we provide advice throughout the life of the project, we are often called upon to assist in preparing recovery strategies for projects which have "gone wrong". Our highly trained and experienced staff can quickly identify the root cause of the problem and recommend strategies for arresting the malaise, and getting the project back on track.

We are also often called upon to provide independent advice as to the likely completion date of projects.

The benefits to clients of our Time Management service is a much higher probability of bringing the project in on time and within budget. On large projects our fees can be offset by the avoidance of a very short delay measured in days.
