GORDON LYNAS

Gordon has experience of construction and project management in Australia, the UK, the Middle East, and SE Asia since 1971. Prior to joining TBH in 1987, he was employed as a civil engineer by John Laing Construction, Badger Engineers and Constructors, BP Engineering Department, and London Docklands Development Corporation. Consequently, Gordon has experience and understanding of the distinctive features of construction projects across a wide range of industries, and of projects ranging in cost from $10 million to over $20 billion at current prices.

Since 1987, Gordon's achievements with TBH have included:

  • Railway related projects
  • Industrial process plants
  • Port infrastructure Environmental remediations
  • Commercial and residential projects
  • Conversions of buildings
  • Airports
  • Hotels
  • Telecommunications projects and other construction projects

  • Delivery of design and construction programmes, earned value analysis, and pro-active progress reporting, to significantly improve the time performance of a number of complex projects.
  • Delivery project management and time control training courses to major corporations.

Gordon has held various offices within the NSW Chapter and National Executive of the Australian Institute of Project Management, and has been invited to speak at industry seminars and conferences on a number of occasions.
